welcome to camp

Camp Newport is your passport to an analog summer.

Imagine an 18th-century farmhouse on three hundred acres. Slow mornings, the hum of cicadas at dusk, dinners that go until someone notices the moon. No TVs. No phones face-up at the table. The kind of summer we used to have — back when being present was more important than scrolling.

You're here because something in you said yes. We saved you a seat.

A DAY AT CAMP

There's a kind of conversation that takes place when no one's holding their phone.

It happens on a bike ride to the beach. On the porch as the sun goes down. By the fire after a guest author reads from her novel.

You'll wake up early — not because you have to, but because the light through the windows is too good to miss. You'll find coffee waiting for you on the terrace and walk through the garden, barefoot and still in your pajamas.

Afternoons that don't ask anything of you. A post-beach nap in a sunlit room with the windows open. The sound of a house of girls getting ready for the evening, racing to catch the sunset. Evenings that feel straight out of a Martha Stewart Living issue from the early 2000s.

Four days that become the memory you measure other summers against.

A HISTORIC RETREAT

An eighteenth-century estate set on three hundred acres of protected land.

Paradise Farmhouse is a beautifully restored historic home on the National Register of Historic Places, nestled within the 300-acre Norman Bird Sanctuary on Aquidneck Island. Sweeping ocean views, hiking trails, open skies — and a quarter-mile from the beach. Ten minutes from downtown Newport.

UNLIKE ANYTHING ELSE

The girls trip you've never been on but have saved to your Pinterest board.

Camp Newport is the retreat you've been quietly imagining for years. You've been to the bachelorette, you've seen the brand trip. This is neither. Four days with a room of women you were destined to meet.

ALL-INCLUSIVE

No planning, no logistics, no scheduling. For once, you're the one being taken care of.

You're the one who plans the trips. Books the dinners. Handles the reservations. Camp Newport is four days off the clock. Transportation, meals, every activity, every detail. You arrive and become the passenger princess you were born to be. The only decision you'll make once you're here is whether to take a nap before dinner or after.

your burning questions, answered

  • Once you arrive at Paradise Farmhouse, all transportation is taken care of — meals, activities, excursions. The only travel you're responsible for is getting yourself to Camp at the start and home at the end.

If it helps with planning: Newport is roughly 35 minutes from Providence (PVD) airport, 75 minutes from Boston (BOS), and 4 hours from New York City.

  • Absolutely. If you'd like to attend together, you can book a Private Room — it has two twin beds (or pushed together to become a King). If you're traveling alone, rest assured: our thoughtfully curated accommodations create the perfect setting to meet the Hallie to your Annie.

  • Not at all. Camp Newport is for any woman who craves beauty, connection, and an unforgettable experience. Our campers come from all over and from every kind of life — drawn together by a shared love of slow living, real conversation, and the kind of summers we used to have. Whether you're a creator, a founder, a mother, a writer, or someone who just answered the call when she saw the application — you belong here.

  • With a limited number of spots available, tickets are non-refundable. However, we understand that life happens. If you find yourself unable to attend, please reach out — in certain circumstances, we may be able to transfer your seat to a future Camp.

  • Camp Newport offers two room options, both designed for connection. The property boasts 6 bedrooms and 7.5 baths total.

The Private Room is shared between two women, with two twin beds and an ensuite bathroom. If you're attending with a friend, you can book a Private Room together. If you're joining solo, you'll be thoughtfully paired with another camper.

The Bunk Room sleeps five women in twin bunk beds with an ensuite bathroom — like the best version of summer camp you remember from being twelve.

Most rooms are shared, by design. The spirit of Camp Newport is rooted in openness, friendship, and shared experience — a little like The Parent Trap, but with bike rides to the beach, farmhouse dinners, and bonfires that go later than expected. We encourage you to arrive with an open heart, a sense of adventure, and a willingness to embrace the magic that happens when women gather under one roof.

  • Camp Newport is a four-day immersion in the kind of summer we used to have — long meals, real conversation, slow mornings, and the magic of being unplugged in a beautiful place. Every detail is designed to inspire — from bike rides to the beach to fireside conversations that linger late into the night.
